Droth Dagger -- A BUG?

Post by Dyre Straits »

I've already acquired and presented the Droth Dagger to the gent in Godsreach. It's lying right there on his table with 3 other daggers.

BUT, everytime I go to speak with him now, he asks me if I've gotten that Droth Dagger yet. I tell him, Here it is. He says, Well, where is it?

Guy must be afflicted with Alzheimers. ;)

Seriously, though, is this a known bug?

I distinctly remember the same thing happening to me: I gave it to him, he payed me for it, but afterwards he kept asking if I had it. If you're on PC, I suggest you search out a patch. If you're on XBOX (which owns all other game systems  ), then all I can really suggest is to not talk to him: I mean, it's not like he has any worthwhile dialogue anyways.
Get up, stand up. Come on, throw your hands up.
If you've got the feeling, Jump across the ceiling.

Well, if this is the same guy, I keep hearing about a collector trying to gather some unique weapons. So, I'm wondering if this is the same one and if giving him this has made it where I'll have to face him in battle later on.

Such are the twists of the game called, Morrowind. ;)
