where is the harpers??
where is the harpers??
i have been trying to do the jaheira romance..i did that with getting the poisoned man to the harper base, helped xzar..and i was nice to jaheira all along..but now im in suldanesslar and ive never encountered any of the harpers as ive been told would happen...i want that ring of wizardry! and the harper base is locked..
If you kept Jaheria in your party it's impossible to not get to do the Harper's quest at some point, unless you flew through Chs. 2 and 3 and went right after Imoen; that's the only way I can see as how you missed it. Next time you play through, play it at a more leisurely pace and you might find it. Correction: it'll find you.

Those dirty Harpers! They keep popping up and threatening my main squeeze Jaheira. Btw, I think she'd promptly and curtly inform a few of you that it's J A H E I R A. While I've told her that her spelling defies the age old rule of "i" before "e" except after "c," She's rather keen on it. She wouldn't speak to me the rest of the day.
Anyway point being. We cleared that rats nest (harpers base in the docks district) out a long time ago and noone seems to pop up. Though she seems rather set on going there. Still I frequent the place and it's always empty. It leaves me curious. Where are these threatening, foul, offensive, dirty harpers?

If I could be At The Drive-In my life would be complete.
The Romances are triggered by REAL Time, play time. Just camp out in the open, go to the chracter screen and wait a few hours (got to school, work etc.) when you get back, rest (the party, not you) and that should trigger the next scene.
"I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges."
You might want to save first, though! I have done this a few times, and then ran into a situation where I had to load (choosing the WRONG answer for instance), losing ALL the progress ... if you SAVE first, it'll at least keep that progress. I believe that loading does push the timer up a little, but it's just a few minutes AT MOST.
