can't find things (MANY SPOILERS)

hello all, this is my second time playing through, this time with 4 of my own characters and I have a few questions that I couldn't answer through searching.

1. I can't get into the cult of the unseeing eye, I did the Mind flayer area, and I talked to Tolgerias and Keldorn but the tunnel just gives me a question mark.

2. in the temple ruins I killed everything but i never got a key to free Mazzy, don't I need her to get to trademeet? and don't i need trademeet to get to cernd?

3. I sided with bodhi because i had never done it before and wanted to try it, I did all of her quests but I never saw Renal Bloodscalp, I'd like another boots of speed ( I got one from Haer Dalis quest). I killed all Shadow theieves at guilhall including Aran but never saw Renal. Could he be at Maevars, I haven't went there yet?

4. Is there anything that gives immunity to psionic blasts, 2 of my chracters have items that are supposed to give some kind of help with that (i think it's the drinker and aegers hide, but neither seem to help?

any help would be appreciated, thanks

I think i can help you with some of them..

1-what tunnel do you mean?If you saw the man from the cult gathering villagers from the temple,did you go to the Lathander Temple(or was it helm..hmm...)and speak with the high priest?

2-The key is on one of the higher level shadows i think.I can be mistakeing though,but it is surealy somewhere near the cell that she is held.However,you do not need Mazzy at all to get to Trademeet.There is a man standing near the town gate who will mark the place on your map aswell.

3-Renal Bloodscalp?I don`t think i have ever met him,unless he is the boss of Maevar Quilhall,witch he probable is.My memory is quite foggy here.

4-You can use the Mind Immunity potions you get from the Illithid Lair near Ust'naha,or something like that.I am not very good with Dark Elven city names.

The tunnel you're looking for is the one where you first meet Keldorn (when he kills the zombies). If you go close you'll be able to go downstairs...

The key is owned by the shadow-jailer (or something like that). It's the one you meet when you are in front of the jail

Renal is on the second floor. You get MaeVar's quest from him.

Try chaotic commands; and the rings and potions you find in the underdark lair of illithids....

1) to get to the cult you first have to accept the quest from the priest in the temple of Helm. Then when you go down to the sewers you will run into Keldorn and he will give you a talk about the order and joining him in defeating the cult.

2) Renal is in the back of the Thieves guild hall and gives you all the quests concerning Maevar's guild hall. Just go into the Shadow Thieves guild hall, walk straight back through the door and I believe he is in the room that door leaves.

You cannot go down that tunnel until you have talked to Ossig in the temple of Helm and accepted the quest.

2.

3.
Once you side with Bodhi, Renal disappears. If you wanted to extra gear, I believe you have to originally do Renal's missions. Then after you have finished that, go talk to Bodhi. I'm not sure if Renal will now stay there, but either way, at least you got to kill Mae'var.

4.
It's not always the psionic blast that kills you, I find the most annoying thing is the intelligence drain. As such, keep an eye on anyone who is fighting mind flayers, especially the lower level intelligence characters (such as Minsc). Temporarily boosting intelligence with a potion of genius can help too.

Chaotic Commands protects you from Psionic Blasts, and I think Free Action does too.

Well I found the key, evidently it fell behind a wall when I killed the shadow and i couldn't see it, I talked to Tolgerias but not Ossig, so I'll try that tonight. Thanks everbody!!

Tolgerias is a Cowled Wizard if I'm correct. He has nothing to do with the Sewers quest, his only point is to do the Planar Sphere quest.
