no need to be rude! want to add something constructive instead?
Nah mate, I wasn't being rude.
I was just pointing out the obvious... it's a great thing to do, because it's so easy.
But serious comments...
Well, basically, I think it's pure arrogance, and Orwell's famous quote, 'Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely'.
Even if another race took over, they would gradually gain arrogance, if they were to advance as a species. Then sooner or later, we would be in the same situation... except this time, we'd be hunted for 'Research Purposes'.

In memorian: Fiona; Ravager; Lestat; Phreddie; and all of those from the 1500 incident. Lest we forget.

Force + Fraud = Power
Looking back through time...
There have been many different 'dominant species'.
There are mammals now, and before that reptiles, and before that arthropoids...
Who is to say that the world wouldn't be dominated by huge 50km high photosynthesising slugs? Or Dragons? Or Rats? Or big blue Fish?
I agree with you GregtheSleeper but I really don't think that the world would be "dominated" by several type of species. My opinion is that animals would "rule" the world by extending their species and by overcoming the human race, but with no advantage at all.
