Seeing as in NwN you only have 1 char in your party wont this be a bit hard? I'm planing on playing a cleric but wont my char get creamed when he goes into melee seing as there is no tanks to keep rampaging nasties off? How is this gonna work?

The correct way to think of the number of players in your party is that you can play one player, but have several henchmen, in single player. In multiplayer you can still only play one character, but can also have henchmen as well as team up with other online players, the limit of which really depends on the load placed on the computers as more characters appear on screen I suppose.

Better get some good AI scripts for your henchmen! If the scripts that come with the game are anywhere near comparable to the BG2 ones...
I'll definitely give AI scripting a shot.

Playing with only one person wouldn´t be too hard since the game is (hopefully) going to be balanced for this kind of adventuring. You just have to rely on what your class is good at, ie. a thief shouldn´t try to musccle everyone he meets!
Oh, and by the way, some monsters might be DM controlled so if they are intelligent he/she should make them react differently to magic-users than to others.

You'll have henchmen, which are almost the same as the BG NPCs, except that you cannot directly control them (only give orders). This is why you may need those scripts...

I would guess that it's handled the same way as it's in the Fallout-series.
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............
Well proberly somewhat similar to Fallout 1 yes (i actaully never played with a group in F1, so I might be wrong). In Fallout 2 you had much control over your "group" more like BG1+2.Originally posted by Robin_Hood:

Fallout 1 was horrible in that respect (though great otherwise). My party members would charge dangerous enemies to stab at them with a knife, and would blast each other to bits with submachine gun sprays...

@Xyx: I had the same experience That's why I hope that there will be a GOOD AI for NPCs...

im not sure but i think druids are restricted to only a few possible weapons.Originally posted by Nippy:
