Newbie, about patches.

Post by doom_raven2001 »

I just started playing the game DL, and because of tshi forum I was forced to repeat the beginning of the game thrice, each character with his own mistakes.

Until I read about patches and here I am, downloading 140 MB of an update, and hell, it takes time.

I just wanted to make sure because I don't want to waste the time used downloading the patch. After you finally download the patch, what do you do? Do you just simply copy the contents and paste over the original game directory?

And one thing also got me confused, I've read somewhere that a character can have more than one guild to join. What!?!? Is that possible? have two classes at the same time? Thanks.

The patch is an executable file.

Once it's downloaded, just double click it to run it and it will install it'self.

Not only do you get two classes, you get two sub classes and a specialty class! See the Gamebanshee DL pages for details...

Thanks

Thanks!

One more thing, when I was going through the posts in this site, I noticed that few people or none at all make characters that has Wizard as their third tier class. Is there something worng with the class? Because as a mage/wizard/any magic yielding character fan, I WILL make a wizard. =)

Wizard class

Personally, I love the wizard class. I started as a mage, which made the Fargrove sewers slightly harder, but after that, its much fun. Go for the wizard, and have fun!
