beef w/ 1.4

Post by tomurph »

Finally figured my mistake first go around, but if I have to restart the whole game everytime they decide that they finally decide to "finish" the game I'm going to be a bit TICKED OFF!!! My saves do work but for some reason the mouse's response time has dropped considerably and only thing I can think of is the patch. Is the only variable that has changed. All other games that are third party games (Morrowind is the only other I play, know it is "a bit behind" Dungeon Lords but had to test the mouse somewhere) work fine. And the mouse shows no difference whatsoever until the saved games load. Haven't tried restarting, was saving that for a worst case scenario, and also have a laser mouse on another computer was hoping for a miracle that maybe it 1.4 would like it better. Did try saving and then loading after saving in 1.4 no luck there. Other things that have been tried are cleaning of the mouse ball and changing of the mouse ball. If anyone has any suggestions please send them.

Did you check the "Mouse Sensitivity" setting under Options?

I don't know if everyone is having this experiance but for some reason the default setting for mouse control is set to 0. You just need to go in to game options and set it to 50% or so. D

Yeah, when I downloaded the 1.4 patch, I had to go and change the mouse sensitivity. It had defaulted to 0 for me too.

thanks

Thanks to you all. Was going crazy thinking that just because I had decided to stick with a saved game that my mouse had decided to go south! But like you mentioned, and I should have checked, the sensitivity was set at "0" for some reason??? Set it 50, too sensitive, 45 works fine.
