Silent Hill -movie on theaters at 21.4!

Post by Kipi »

It looks quite interesting, at least the trailer did.
It can be seen here.
And, as can be seen in the title of this thread, it should be theaters during this month.

Any thoughts of it?

I think it could be quite good - I thought the resident evil films were ok for films based on a computer game so hopefully this won't be really bad either.

Well, at least trailer gives promises of at least somewhat good film...
Though trailers are quite often giving false promises. But nevertheless I'm going to see it when it's coming to theaters here also (which may or may not be the day when it's coming out everywhere else  )

I didn't mind the Resident Evil Movies either, so I guess I'm going to go and probably see it in theatres as well. Even if turns out to be a total loss of money, I can still say I saw Silent Hill.

Could be good.

I'm just glad that a somewhat reputable director is attached to this adaptation. Christophe Gans did that Brotherhood of the Wolf flick, which was fairly well-balanced in terms of visceral edge and action. It appears as if the filmmakers have got the look of Silent Hill down pat, in any case, so here's to hoping for the above average.

Oh, and I'm really glad Pyramid Head is going to be in it.

Advisory! - Some blood and gore in below picture.
