Beta Patch Did NOT Remedy Crash on Exit from Game
Contrary to the claims, I'm still crashing when exiting Oblivion. It's that problem where the "Report this to Microsoft" error screen comes up.

A friend of mine too, and he's already dispatched an email to Bethy. Didn't solve it for him either so I think it would be good indeed to send them an email.
And He whispered to me in the darkness as we lay together, Tell Me where to touch you so that I can drive you insane; tell Me where to touch you to give you ultimate pleasure, tell Me where to touch you so that we will truly own each other. And I kissed Him softly and whispered back, Touch my mind.

I get the error too. It happens if I exit straight from inside the game via the esc menu or if I exit from the game starting menu.
Anyone else has this same problem? Or is it a specific problem with Dyre Straits?
alas, Dyre, I think you should mail bethesda about it, including, of course, your hardware specifications.
Will do.
It happens so frequently, I'm surprised anytime it doesn't happen.

Its annoying as h#ll !. I quit after about 3 hours of gameplay, because OBL slows down in that time A LOT (F2 inventory loads looong time etc..). When i QUIT, it takes about 5 mins game exit to Win, and about 8/10 it crashes just like that...

Badmutha, just so you know--"hell" isn't considered profanity on GameBanshee. On the other hand, if you do use letter substitution to get around the profanity filter, you will first be warned, and if you continue, your posting privileges will be revoked. Our host is in the US. It has nervously cut service to general admission sites before after attacks by the net nannies, and we're not going to let that happen to GameBanshee.
For the rest, this is a beta, guys, and they're actually asking you to test it. I wouldn't do that unless they paid me, rather than the other way around. When the patch becomes official, they'll deserve all the condemnation they get if they problem remains, but until then, it seems a bit premature.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

That said, I think the best policy is to write a polite and highly informative e-mail to bethesda, who is probabily trying to solve those issues and needs feedback.
@Badmutha, the game is huge, what would you expect? Doom 3 scared the hell out of me with the time it took to "unload", but its needs are huge as well. Gotta pay the price.
