arena tips

ok guys here is a tip that worked fine for me-do not use any potions that give u exp for any of the skills before this, save them for the arena-

first, before u go to the arena, make sure you have physical shield to max lvl.
2nd make sure u have over 100 will potions (i did it with 148)
3rd have a fast light weapon that deals large amount of damage(i used master katana w/ 2 sharpen auggys and 1 pierce)
4th have inflame max lvl and the infernal wrath i think its called? anyways yeah have that lvl'ed max. or the good one same difference.

having all these will give you a hellish rain of exp after this ud probobly be able to max most of ur skills.(dont forget to have skorms bow also w/ max multi arrow)

when you start the arena activate ur shield and let the monsters come, try and top ur combat multiplier over 100-i got mine to 107, sad i know but still its something.
doing so will enable u to get 100k+ exp when u drink your exp potions and with all the monsters u've killed youll have over 200k general exp if possible, my friend said he got more this way but im not sure. pm me if this worked or has woked for you.

When you drink the ages potions, like ages of might, ages of will and ages of skill, when you have high combat multiplier, you'll get more exp from each of these categories. The higher the better as you get more exp doing so.

Slow time, and assassins rush, coupled with multistrike on the Katana Hiryu decimates everything. Except the trolls, which is when I switch to the Murren Greathammer (oh...yes, I should mention, I took advantage of the Rose Cottage silver key bug). Lots and lots of Will potions, too.

while your tactics may work your lying about using the katana hiryu in the areana as this is imposible as it is only accessable once u have competed the arena quest

my personal way of beating the arena is just physical shield, some will potions and lots of sword work with highest dmg light sword u can find (usually cutlass bluetane or obsidian katana)

yeah...thats kinda true, but you can use cheats for pc tlc...so yups its possible

and i on my new file i tried doing arena with all bow, using skorms bow. i got 87 combat multi. using no sword at all it owns-get multi arrow to max and physical shield to max and skorms bow and ur all set, dont forget 100+ will pots

I don't understand the big deal with the arena. I don't ever get over a 30 cm but its also pretty rare that I have to use a health potion or heal spell at any point during the thing. I don't use physical sheild though, which brings me to another thing. Which do people think is better...Maxed out Berserk or maxed physical sheild?

IMO berserk is much better, I've gotten through the game many times without Physical Shield, but Berserk is always able to get me out of a jam

Heavy Weapons?

Hello.

I didn't knew about it either... But I guess you have to use some sort of a Heavy and blunt weapon to do so... I can't imagine refelcting a huge boulder with a stick. No matter how good your phisique is. Am I right? Or doesn't it matter? Going to try and do that now...

This is wery good arena build

1.Slow time!!!!!<< wery important
2.will potions as much as possible
3. health potions as much as possible
4.good weapon if u are an warrior or maxed lightning if u are mage

other option besides slow time is The force shield but id i remember right u cant use them at the same time

with this style u get Superb ammount of exp (especially if u are mage with lightning) becoz the lightning goes on chain and that causes ur combat multiplier to grow on huge ammounts , and while u have slowtime on
its easy to dodge attacks and maintain your compat multiplier

+for more bigger exp make an hero save before the scorpion comes and start the arena again

++i did this with one of my character 5 times! i had like 100 000 will experience and almost as much general

I personally find it funny when you launch back boulders at rock giants with the stick. Then again, that and Skorms bow are my only weapons, and my only spells are slow time fully and lightning fully. chicken hat pwns pimp hat.

Physical Shield is better for a few reasons:
1. Keeps up Combat Multiplier
2. Prevents Scars
3. You don't get knocked back
4. High level PS is easy to maintain (spoiler)

5. Easier to obtain IMO because being Good is much easier.

Berserk is useful too, but the increased damage and un-blockability comes at a price of taking 80% or more damage than you normally would while Berserked. Not good. When combined with PS though, it pwns.

Yep. The timing is difficult, but with Slow time is very easy. I don't know how the Stick doesn't break from this though. It's funny to hit a giant boulder with a flimsy Stick or Frying Pan.
