skeleton key (spoiler)

anyone know where you get the skeleton key ive been looking for ages now and still no luck thanks in advance

The Skeleton Key is received as a reward for one of the Daedra Shrine quests - Nocturnal, I believe. The shrine is located quite near the road from Impereal City to Leyawin (sp...) - the direct road that is to the east.

skeleton key

hi guys,

i have the reverse question - have found the skeleton key but dont know what you do with it as i was playing with the sound off so missed what was said to me when i finished nocturnal quest and received the key - i assume it opens certain doors? thanks in advance

It opens every door, it is an unbreakable lockpick that gives you a bonus of forty to your security. Have fun, and I hope it wont spoil your game.

Oh, I'm glad it doesn't screw it up completely! I take some pride in being able to unlock a Very Hard lock at security 5 without breaking a lockpick!

You do get the lockpick from Nocturnals shrine. I tried it though, and it said she wanted a stronger champion. Make sure you are at a good level before you try it!

You must be level ten or higher but you do not need an offering.
