I have noticed this morning that if I'm logged into GB with Firefox, it will log me out if I want to use the search engine, go into my PMs etc.
I have not reset anything in Firefox, and it was working fine yesterday.
Has anyone else been having these problems or did I just get lucky?
note: Opera is working fine.

Hi,
I also have a problem of the automatic log out whenever I log on to GameBanshee when using Firefox but that occurs when I leave the browser idle for certain amount of time. By the way, this problem has been occuring for me ever since I first signed up here. Slightly irritating to be frank.

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

For me, when I use Firefox, I don't even need to be idle, it happens almost immediately after logging in.
Opera will log out after being idle for a time, but it is no big deal because I just have GB set in my wand passwords.

Prolly a dumb question, but a "just to be sure" question.
Do you have that little box called "cookie" enabled when you log on?

Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

That may have been it... I just looked and it was not checked... Though it must have somehow been knocked off because I know for sure that I have not adjusted anything since last night, and I'm the only person who uses this computer.
Seems to be okay now... weird...

Firefox has several options involving saving for passwords, cookies, images, etc that IE at least does not have. Depending on how you set the browser to operate, it will reject each and every cookie your browser comes into contact with. I know my friends were utterly frustrated with the directions I gave them in order how to operate FF while using my computer given my settings. Regardless, the settings I had working allowed me absolute control over what my computer saved to disc or rejected.
Without the proper settings, this website will not allow cookies to be saved on your computer after you close the browser each time. I do believe the "delete after closing" type of setting is the default for FF. Meaning, it may save cookies on your browser, but only until you close out the browser, upon which they are deleted. In that case, you would not stay logged in, and you need to go into the options menu and play with that until you get it how you want it.
Personally, I rarely go outside specific sites, and I go out of my way to take the time to "allow" those specific sites on my browser, rejecting all others. Just like taking care of a car, I do the same for my computer. It may take a bit of time, but it keeps my computer safer. Besides, if it is set to reject all cookies beyond those which I allow, anyone who sneaks onto my comp while partying here won't be able to do much harm while I am busy.

"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
