Is there some trick to getting more Decaptations?
I am very near the end of the game and i only have about 5 decapitations... Am I missing something?

For your information, that's called 'flourish.'

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. If you're trying to do it with a hand-to-hand weapon then when you pound on them hard enough they'll get a little daze around their head and then you do a florish which takes off thier head.
If you are using a Ranged weapon, then aim for the head and it should take it off.
Sometimes I get a decapitation bare-handed with maxed Strength and Berserk
Err, Matt, is it possible to decapitate someone with your bare fists? I tried that once and still that guy's head remain in place.

you can use lightning lv4 to decapitate 4 people at a time.
Really? Hmm, better try this when I had the chance.
yeah its possible you just need a lot of strength and berserk(like matt said)
you should realy pay atention to what your reading
More likely its what I wrote. Anyway, both my beserk and strength was to the max and when I tried it on a guard at the part his head didn't fall off.
An effective way of getting decapitations while still low level is just to use fireball level 1 til they are stunned then use the push spell and it takes their head right off
Heh heh:laugh: . Nice, though I never used fireball as it was clumsy and left me open to attacks (especially melee fighters). Can't care much acout decapitations anyway especially fighting at close quarters since more wise to eliminate enemies than trying to make heads fly off (only when I'm using a bow to headshot people than its useful for me ).

So far I've gotten 30+ decapitations an' that's just with my now replaced Obsidian Longbow with the flame an' lightning augments (I didn't know that they were monster-specific at the time... I thought they offered a generic damage boost to everything an' an extreme damage boost to those monsters that were weak against the elemental damage.). I like to think that I'm a rather good headhunter for someone who hasn't even begun to sprout horns or substantiate his halo yet...
An' so far? No, nothing but the warm tinglies are there to reward you for lopping off somebody's melon. Still, not all rewards need to be tangible, there's nary a better pleasure in the game than hiding in the shadows late at night, taking your time to stalk your prey, get a good shot in between the trees and... Good night! 'THWOCK!'

Itch. It itches to feel you cleave to the song of my mettle,
to yield and surrender in nearly every way;
if not in all the important ways.
