Quite severely screwed

"Save your game often and in different slots", says the loading screen. "Ha!", said I, "Whenever will I need more than the one quicksave?".

Heh....

I'm in the ice temple, and the trigger that spawns the ethereal priestess doesn't seem to have gone off. So I can't complete the ice temple quest. And I don't have an earlier save game.

I can think of 2 solutions which I would really appreciate any help on.

- The cheat console allows you to change the area, but I'm not sure what area data file the first part of chapter 3 corresponds to. Anyone have any ideas what area file I need to load to go the part just after the ice temple?

- Or, if anyone has a savegame of the beginning of chapter 3 that they could e-mail me ( solitaire@newtelsurf.com ) that would be really great. I would be eternally indebted to you and I would come round and clean your car for you or something.

Well, it's possible to get around the problem with codes, but be warned that it will very likely mess at least your journal. I know since I have tried those codes and my journal got very much messed up...

So, I would suggest that you try to find in-game solution to it or get a savegame...

It's looking increasingly like I am facing the horrifying prospect of re-doing the entire chapter.
