After i spoke to umbacanos two guards i found that he collects ayleid things.i thought these would be valuable and worth stealing

. After searching his house i found nothing does anyone know where these atrefacts are?

he might just say that he does but he doesnt have anything or he might have it with him

Umbacano collects Ayleid statuettes but you are supposed to find them and bring them to him. He will pay more than the stores. After you find one in a ruin, and sell it anywhere, one of Umbacano's men will find you and tell you about the quest.

he has them after you sell them to him and then you can go and steal them back out of the display case upstairs

But NOT until you have completed ALL the tasks he gives you. And make sure you collect ALL the 10 statuettes before you do the other stuff he wants, otherwise you miss out on the cash rewards.
