To love or not to love?
To love or not to love?
So I'm just on my first time ever playing KotOR (sad, I know), and I was just wondering. Is it better to love or turn down Bastila? What makes the game better?
Hi,
Welcome to the forums, bummerboy. No need to feel sad about playing KOTOR for the first time.

Well, if you're interested in Bastilla's back story, take the romance path. As for the second question, the answer for the first question applies here as well because at least you'll get to know her background and her past.

Not completely IMO. You do get to choose to be with her and give into the DS later on in the game. And if you're LS and turn her down at the Temple, you can still coax a 'I love you' from her on the Star Forge.

*gasp* How can you not love Bastila? she's freakin' hot!!!!!! and she's funny.
You: You're so cute when you're embaressed.
Bastila:Why must you be so impossibly infuriating?!?!?!?!?
And since it's you're first time i won't tell you how but romancing her will convince her to do something helpful later in the game.

I always play LS, and for some reason I personally feel bad about hurting the charactar's feelings (strange...) so the one time I did play a male charactar (I think my third time through the game) I chose the love story.
I always had a thing for Carth Onasi anyway

depends what kind of char your roleplaying id say.
If u roleplay then it get better so ask yourself what would ur char do? follow the hard teachings of jedi masters, no booty?
or maybe love isnt bad when its true....
or maybe your char i evil and just takes advantage of her or 1000 stuff in between....
thats the way the i think the game gets the best

Hmm, I never played any game in that manner before. It could be the fact that I play many games that are linear overall (hey, as long as the story is good, I don't care if its open-ended or not).FredrikNo1 wrote:depends what kind of char your roleplaying id say.

I suggest you send him a personal message, by clicking on his name, and then choosing the option from the right side of the screen. After all, as you'll see by looking at the post dates, B-B-B put that post up 6 months ago, and hasn't posted here, since.ovtza wrote:Bada-Bing-Boom, you said 'And since it's you're first time i won't tell you how but romancing her will convince her to do something helpful later in the game.' i always take romance path with her, but i really don't know what are you talkind about... well?
