Then why is Mandalore in your name. He's not a good guy. ;)

Well, I am more to Light side than Dark Side. Really don't like to be Dark Side since I'm not into it and even if I wanted to, I couldn't bring myself to do so. That's why I'd rather go Light Side because, as what MandalorianX had mentioned, I like to help out people and it does give me a nice feeling doing so, even though it's just a game. ;)

I love both so much, but there is a contrast in both though. I like killing and helping people.

For me, my choice reflects my choice between Light and Dark (as a religious thing) in the real world...anyone else base their choice on that? Or just what seems fun? I'd be curious to know...

I do what's fun because games really don't count. Otherwise I have to be Light side all the time. ( I'm a Christian ) I like to see the game from both perspectives. :)

A woman(or a man :D ) who caused death of the thousands, almost turned to dark side and stopped hearing the force, understands what she(or he!)have done then regrets and learns new things from it.

It's sounds better than:

A dark jedi who hates everyone especially who cast her out.Kills all of them to become more and more powerful.

Hey, stop making fun of the Dark side. They think more than you think they think.

Even though I kind of liked playing LS, to be honest, I did find the Jedi to be arrogant at times and pretty much close minded, especially in KOTOR 2. Man, I went to rescue them and they all agreed to strip me of my Force powers?! I risked the lives of my men just to rescue you guys and this is the thanks I get?! I really felt like kicking them in the butt very much! As for DS, I don't really like it either. The fact that you go around being rude or evil to almost everyone is not my cup of tea, coupled with the fact that being mean to your team members is not what I would like to do.

No wonder I prefer being a clone commando at times (Star Wars: Republic Commando). At least you won't get bombarded with these decision. Just fight for the Republic and that's it. ;)

If I play true to how I actually am, I would end up gray or a (very) little light side. But I tend to play light side because it seems a better developed story to me than dark side. I also don't like how dark side choices seem to be more insane than truly evil. Kreia's manipulations were the only truly dark side acts in the game in my opinion.

Yes, that bugs me a lot. The game developers seem to equate Dark Side with motiveless violence, which seems to me to be a major misunderstanding.

Yea, all of the acts were basically mindless killing, which is fun and all but most Sith Lords aren't like that. Most of the time I am though.

I have no problem with mindless killing in games in general, but in order to get the most out of this game, you're sort of forced to choose one or the other, light side or dark side. I just think it would be nice for both sides to be equally well thought out and interesting. It makes more sense for characters to be "tempted" by the dark side if it involved more than just flipping out and slaughtering people for little (or no) reason.

I agree. For someone who don't really like playing dark side, I also wish that both light and dark side are more fleshed out. The latter should be fleshed out more as the dark side path in both KOTORs does seem like the developers didn't really put a lot of focus it. It's not tacked on, in my opinion, but it just feels a bit unpolished at times.

But don't forget what we can do to our companions.
For example HanHarr, when ı played dark side ı destroyed his beliefs and wookie honor.
Or Atton, he construed his experince with the female jedi wrongly because of my lies...
Kotor 2 is the second game that ı felt charisma and inteligence are as important stats as strength.(It's an important thing if you playing DS)That's why ı like Kotor 2 than first Kotor.

But, still my choice is LS

Good points, although I think that's more of a credit to the influence system than the overall dark side storyline, which is strengthened by the influence system, though still not as strong as the dark side story in the first game.

Not as strong as the first game?
The(so called)dark side story is nothing but "You almost conquered the republic and you have a mask and dark cloak(ı remember this costumes from somewhere but...)!No matter you can't remember who you were. Kill'em all!"Then Revan suddenly forgets his jedi traning becomes "evil".Even Anakin's fall(eps III  ) was better...

There is no dark side story in the first game, just a mask and typical power hungry, dreadful sith and a chance to do some evil deeds that we watched in new episodes.Kotor 2's dark side story isn't enough(yes ı may agree that) but first kotor's too...I believe the reason is the both game's original stories(that have a place in Eu)are based on LS...

Srry still ı lose myself if someone talks unwell about Kotor 2 and there is no connection between the topic and what ı'm saying :D .
