I also have a crash problem...

Hey guys, I bought Icewind dale 2 a long time ago, but never got around to playing it until recently. When I installed the game, everything went well, I am running the game through windows xp. But when I start to play the game, as soon as I begin checking items to upgrade, sell, pass to another character, etc. a minute will pass and then the screen will freeze, followed by an error report, closing the game entirely. I've tried re-installing the game several times, repairing several times, nothing seems to work. Have any of you had this problem as well? If so, how did you correct it? Thanks!

crash fix

Like you, I just got around to playing it the other day and ran into the same problem with crashing of the game when I accessed the inventory screen. I downloaded the patch for v2.01 from gamespot and that solved the problem.

Where do I get the patch? I am crashing on inventory screen and I have been playing for a while. but my computer went down and when I got it back the crashing started.
