You do realise that makes Patrick Stewart qualify don't you?Daianara wrote: definetly Vin Diesel for Minsc. Or maybe The Rock. Or the guy who played the mummy. Any bald dude will do.
I am lmao at the image of Captain Picard chasing after some evil Klingon yelling in Shakespearean influenced English...

Ooohh, Arnold Vosloo DOES fit Minsc! AND he has an accent that could be used!

Umm, just one question. Who own the rights to the Baldur's Gate series? I recall that Bioware is one of the developers of the game.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Has anyone mentioned Uma Thurman or Michael Madsen yet? Madsen would do great as a character with some sort of "dark side", like Valygar. And as for Uma, well, she's just plain cool I bet she would make a great Imoen.

Oh great, I can definitely picture that one! semi-Shakespearean Minsc, that's hilarious...:laugh:dragon wench wrote:You do realise that makes Patrick Stewart qualify don't you?

Which reminds me: YouTube - Extras - Patrick Stewart Comedy
And on topic: no, no; no Vin Diesel. Definitely not as Minsc. Minsc should be played by an actor, not by a stuntman.

Don't laugh, at least, not too loud, until you've read Shakespeare's comic style for so-called "low clowns." Aside from the really stupid Three Stooges-style physical humor, Minsc would fit right in. Probably better in Ben Jonson's plays, though.TheAmazingOopah wrote:Oh great, I can definitely picture that one! semi-Shakespearean Minsc, that's hilarious...
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
You know, seeing this reminds me of something I came across a long time ago. A man was writing a screenplay in hopes of submitting it. Of course, that was several years ago and his website is either temporarily or permanently down.
I thought the premise was quite dumb when I read it. At anygiven moment he would have eight of the NPCs in a party with the protagonist, and it sounded really hack-n-slash to me.
So if you guys want to see a movie, go ahead and write a draft. Might happen.

Alright, this may as well get a bumping...
I'm gonna suggest Rose McGowan for Viconia, and Robert Stack for Keldorn.
