HK47 (spoilers)
Now we all know that reven built hk47 as well as making him call humans meatbags but I heard somewhere that HK47 was made in a foundry on malachor V. Is this true? or is it just fan speculation

HK-47 wasn't built by Revan. He was built by Aratech Corp. as an assasin droid to help destroy their rival companies plans for building other things that might hurt their company's sales. Revan was just his former master.I believe the HK-50's were built on a droid factory on Mustafar. The same place later used by the Separatists to build their droid armies.

I was not refering to the droid factory cut in kotor 2 i was refering to HK 47 and sith dog are you talkin about the bonus mission in restorin hks memory? i was under the impression that Reven was his 1st master. Didnt he say as well in kotor 2 if you get enough influence that reven created him as a result of malachor V? AND sith dog the hk50s were made by goto on the sublevel in the military base on telos but it was cut from kotor 2 bcause of them trying to get it out quickly
I thought those HK-50s were manufactured at the droid planet and GO-TO must have purchased them or something?DarthBob wrote:AND sith dog the hk50s were made by goto on the sublevel in the military base on telos but it was cut from kotor 2 bcause of them trying to get it out quickly
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

That was from Star Wars.com. But I believe that information is elswhere because that's not where I got it. Sorry, it was Czerka, I thougt it was Aratech.
Height:
1.8 meters
Manufacturer:
Czerka Corporation (rumored)
Type:
Protocol / assassin droid
Weapon:
Blaster rifle, plus various built-in weaponry
A self-sentient killing machine, HK-47 was far more than an ordinary combat droid. Created four thousand years ago, he came equipped with a devastating arsenal of high-powered weaponry, a ruthless and single-minded pursuit of his termination targets, and a pre-programmed disregard for all organic life. This Hunter-Killer model is one of the most dangerous assassins in the galaxy.
And yet, he was also a protocol droid.
The incongruity did not go unnoticed, even by HK-47. For a time, his memory was partially wiped, and he could not piece together his history. He knew that he just wanted to blast a few "meatbags," but the droid wasn't sure exactly why he wanted to do that. Or how he came to regard organic life as "meatbags." Or why he was so well equipped to gleefully dish out violence.
Instead, HK-47 found himself in a droid shop in Anchorhead, part of the Ithorian Yuka Laka's inventory of goods. The HK model was rumored to have been created by Czerka Corporation to eliminate the heads of rival companies. Units such as these were quite capable of laying waste to an entire building in an effort to dispose of a single target. This wanton carnage, combined with the tendency of the droid's previous owners to come to rather gruesome ends, has led most civilized planets to issue explicit bans on all HK-model assassin droids.
But there was more to HK-47 than that. In truth, HK-47 belonged to Darth Revan, Dark Lord of the Sith. Revan gave HK-47 the programming necessary to make the droid fluent in the difficult language of Tatooine's Sand People. It was HK-47 that helped Revan locate the ancient Star Forge map on Tatooine. To cover these tracks, Revan wiped the droid's memory of those events; ironically, the Sith Lord's memories would be wiped too.
HK-47 would help Revan again once the droid was reawakened. The droid had a strong sense of loyalty. He would obey his master to the letter of the instruction, even if the Revan wanted to tinker around in his chest and try to unlock some of the droid's hidden memories and capabilities.

I found this on Wookieepedia...Sith Dog wrote:That was from Star Wars.com. But I believe that information is elswhere because that's not where I got it. Sorry, it was Czerka, I thougt it was Aratech.
HK-47 was originally constructed by Revan, shortly after the Battle of Malachor V, to be the quintessential assassin. While he was completely loyal— friendly, even— to those he identified as "master," he had virtually no regard for any form of life, and was driven by an unquenchable thirst for violence and carnage. He characteristically used the term "meatbag" when speaking of organic life forms, especially Humans. This insult was originally used in passing by the droid when insulting Revan's friend and apprentice, Darth Malak, who had asked what the droid thought of him. Revan found the insult (as well as Malak's annoyance) amusing enough to reprogram HK to consider all organics "meatbags."
The droid remained in Revan's possession, helping him locate the ancient space factory known as the Star Forge [1], assassinating beings who could potentially destabilize the Galaxy, until his master sent him on an unknown assassination into Mandalorian space. Though HK-47 succeeded, his motor functions were damaged, and he ended up in the possession of a Mandalorian soldier who claimed him as his "booty." The Mandalorian repaired HK-47 (rather poorly, the droid thought) to the extent he was capable of and began using him to raise his rank.

actually, it WAS revan who built hk 47. I thinks he says it in kotor 1 himself. And that czerka part is just made for people who havent finished the gameSith Dog wrote:That was from Star Wars.com. YOU DONT KNOW THE POWER OF THE DRUNKSIDE ill beat you up with my bottl ...lightsaber!!!And Drunk Side is a bar in KOTOR1... check these out! http://www.xfire.com/screenshots/drunkside/
Both could be accurate
Aratech may well have secretly developed the HK series. This does not mean they were responsible for the construction of HK-47. Perhaps Revan built the improved HK-47 after being inspired by seing another model. However, I think it is most likely that Revan built HK-47 with other HK parts. In doing so, I think he built a much improved model, unique to him. This sites own guide gives a description of HK's that say they can turn on their masters. HK-47 seems far mor loyal than is hinted at there.
So overall I would say that HK-47 was built by Revan out of the parts of the HK series originally developed by Aratech. HK-47 is unique and much more powerful than any of the Aratech or divergent series (see KotorII).
