OK first of all I want to take a second and tell you that I am going on Rumor here but this Does contain a big spoiler for the mainquest if the rumor is true so read on at your own risk.
I just delivered the new emporor to that little blades stronghold in the mountains near Bruma and I was told that soon Bruyma will fall under attack like Kavatch Now my question is did I waste Maney in buying a house in Bruma? and will the Town be destroyed? meaning get all the quest done there before I go and do anymore of the main quest?

bruma is not destroyed. you have to go and close the great oblivion gate towards the end of the main questline
