If you get to close to the turrets, I will believe they will recognize that your not a Sand People Warrior.Same thing happens when you walk too close to one of the Sand People.
I might be wrong about the turrets recognizing you.

Here is a wise saying from Luke Skywalker, "NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!" And that was a word from Luke. Have a nice day!
It's been a while since I played but the first time I played this game, I recall that the turrets did not attack me when I go near it but when I entered the sand people base, I was attacked by it's occupants. Strange indeed. Then, I reloaded the game and strange enough, when I re-entered the sand people's base, I was left alone and I was able to talk to the chief of the sand people (I took a peep and found out that my sand people suit registered numbers on it. Before I reloaded, it didn't). :speech:Sith Dog wrote:If you get to close to the turrets, I will believe they will recognize that your not a Sand People Warrior.Same thing happens when you walk too close to one of the Sand People.

Yeah, I attacked those Sand People guarding the entrance to the base and they did drop Sand People clothing (I followed Gamespot's guide at that time and that's what the game guide told me to do). I wasn't harassed by the turrets outside the enclave but when I entered the enclave, I was attacked by the occupants in it. Then I reloaded the game and presto, no one attacked me when I entered the enclave afterwards. Strange but that's how I did it (it's true and that sand people clothing registered some numbers).DJA wrote:Did you attack the Sand People guarding the exit behind the Sand Crawler? Because if they didn't let you through without a fight, you won't be able to get into the compound without another fight.

Yes, Hk-47 was with me at that time. I probably suspect that I have 2 sets of Sand People clothing because I changed into one that has stats (or it could be that after reloading the game, the stats appeared on the clothing) and I was able to enter without anyone attacking me.Mandalorianx wrote:did you have HK-47 with you then? cuz somethig like that happend when i did'nt have him in my party, since you dont get the option to speake with them....

SPOILER
If you Want to get into the enclave you need to get the HK47 if you want to get him he is next to the gate at the anchor town after you get him you get him as one of your party and go to the sandpeople onclave and he can talk to them and then you are aloud to go in and talk to sandpeople leader but youneed to help them move the enclave away from the town so you have to go back to the czerca place and buy the water sorce from them and then you go to the enclave and talk to the leader and thats how you do that

I'm not really sure about the lightsaber part as I recall carrying those around too and I wasn't harassed by the Sand People at all. I will keep this in mind the next time I venture into the Sand People base (see whether I'm interested in replaying the game, since I have an apparent distaste for replaying games).Jedi_Sauraus wrote:also put yor lightsaber away and use the gaffi stick kind of intuitive but I found out the hard way

no need to put away your lightsaber(s) i've walked in to the enclave many times with lightsabers, it most be a small bug or a glitch or so...DesR85 wrote:I'm not really sure about the lightsaber part as I recall carrying those around too and I wasn't harassed by the Sand People at all.
