Two Quick Questions

Post by Boduro »

Hello!!

First Question: Is it possible to put in the quickbar two weapons in the same slot for the dual wield??

Second Question: Is there a way to tell your companion to leave the party if you don't want him anymore??

Thanks Friends!!!

I haven't got the game yet so I can't say for sure, but have you tried dragging one weapon into the quick bar then dragging the other weapon into the same slot?

As for the companion, try talking to him/her and there will probably be an option asking them to leave/part ways.

Ansver one: I don't know any way.

Possibly Spoiler.

Ansver two: Yes, but you have to be in Neverwinter (A tavern I don't remember the name on) or a stronghold (forgot the name too). Tavern in chapter one, stronghold in chapter two.

There was a way in the first Neverwinter, something like shif+click. Can't seem to make it work anyway... :(

About the second i don´t think thats a spoiler friend. ;) Maybe you're right only in certain points you can modify the group. I´ll have to stack some more time with him hehe :p

1. I haven't found a way to do this. It works differently than NWN 1.

2. The only way I've found to change party members is at the Sunken Flagon in Neverwinter or at certain cut scenes that are story driven.

Dual-wield from the quickbar is bugged.

It's possible (there was a thread on Bioware about it), but not from the quickbar.

Basically, just do it manually. there IS the off-hand slot in the Inventory display.

Beta patch 1.03 fixes the dual-wield Quickbar so it works like NWN1 :) :

Drag your primary to a button. Drag the secondary on top of it. The button will now wield/unwield both. This is an absolute must for ranger characters, IMO. It's also handy if you need a special weapon for some enemies (like the trolls) for quick swapping. My ranger had four weapon combo buttons going now including his bow.
