problem with dl game editor

every time i open my dl game editor(1.5x if that helps)and try to open my save game, a box pops up that says "unhandled exception has occurred in your application. if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue....." i need a gold key because i had one and now i dont-i dont know what happened with that-so i click continue and add the key to my inventory, when i click save character that box pops up again, i click continue and it doesn't save. i've tried to remove the program from my computer and re-download it but it does the same thing, if theres anything i can do can you please tell me

i have the CE if that helps.

Hmm, does this happen as soon as you a.) open the editor, or when you attempt to b.) load a saved game or c.) during the editing process? That probably seems nitpicky, but I had the same error message while editing my game when I typed in something incorrectly.

I am not sure what the problem could be if this happens as soon as you attempt to open the editor (before even trying to load a saved game).

Did you not notice, on the same sticky page, it also says you need to have NetFramework 2.0 installed (a link is provided, and it's free from MS).
