Multiple Enchantments on Weapons???

Post by diggitydan »

:::Maybe I should have looked a little harder for this thread...but here goes:::
I was just wondering if there was a way to put multiple enchantments on armour akin to the way you can do it with weapons? Or are the constant effects the reason why you can only have O N E effect per article of clothing/armour???? alrighty, peace out.

Umm...no, you should be able to put multiple enchantments. If you're using a petty soul gems, it's probably not working because it's too small, but a normal level soul gem should be easy to implement more than one ability.

Though, I could be wrong, I've never enchanted armor in oblivion. I would expect it to be like armor and every item in morrowind.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Oioioi...

:::I see...however....::: I'm using grand sould gem (greater souls inside), and when I enchant my armour, it only allows for ONE  enchantment (i.e. chameleon-constant at 20%, or shield-constant at 10% etc, but only one at a time). I dunno, seems like you can only have one enchantment to me, maybe I need something better than grand soul gem?

you can only have one enchantment on apparrel no matter what soul gem you use. the creators made it so only weapons have cast when strike and apparrel only have constant effect and there is nothing you can do about it

but if you have 5 pieces of armor each having 20% chameleon (20x5=100) then you'd be 100% invisble therefore unseeable and therefore you don't really need 10% shield now do you

Radical

:::well, I guess I shouldn't be too upset::: when I think about it, having the ability to multi enchant armour would be almost as cheap as using the console codes I ALWAYS do ! but seriously, yeah, I have a suit I keep with me all the time that ensures I'm at a 100% for my chameleon I figured I could do that early on but it really ruins the game "Oh, an arrow shot me for X6 damage....must have been something " *invisible dude fires another arrow point blank* "HEY WHO'S THERE?....hmmm have an arrow sticking out of my chest....must have been the wind". Well thanks everyone for the info
