Shadowkeeper: how do you remove Turn Undead?
Simply that. I've changed a generic paladin into an inquisitor, and given him the proper kit. However, I don't see any option to remove Turn Undead in Shadowkeeper.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I don't think there's an option to add or remove the Turn Undead button, much the same as with the Stealth and Thieving buttons. They come with the class (kit) and are hardcoded.
However, since you changed the kit to Inquisitor with Shadowkeeper, your character should have all the advantages and thus all the disadvantages as well, so I'm unsure what caused this glitch. Have you tried setting XP, levels, etc., to zero, removing all Affects, and then change the kit to Inquisitor?

No, can't say I have. You're right, it can't hurt anything, provided I do a backup (which I always do). Though I'm not sure what benefit I'd gain by resetting experience to 0 and level to 1.

When I was doing some character editing, I found my ranger-cleric could not Turn. I believe it was an Affect involving a Disable Button. I enabled it and could Turn. I suppose you would do the opposite to stop that. Sorry, I can't remember more details. I mostly remembered being happy when my cleric could finally turn.
One option is to use Infinity Engine Editor Pro, add the equipping effect 'Disable Button', Duration permanent, probability 0-100, target 'self', parameter-button type '06'. I'd suggest adding the effect to AMUL02 (necklace) as that's never likely to be worn accidentally.
Alternatively, reset level to 0, THACO to 20, base HP to 1, memorised priest spells all to 0, all saving throws to 20 in SK. When you load the save you will immediately be able to level up and problem should be sorted I believe. For some reason the only thing that get's skewed is weapon proficiency for some reason, just put the few you get when levelling up on weapons you wouldn't use. I will be interested to know how you get on.

Setting levels and experience to zero means totally resetting your character. Simply just changing the kit causes you to retain abilities form the former class, I believe. So combining what I mentioned above with galraen's post "Alternatively, reset level to 0, THACO to 20, base HP to 1, memorised priest spells all to 0, all saving throws to 20 in SK" will make sure your character starts from scratch, so to say. Just make sure you level up to level one first, and not immediately to level 10 or so, because that will mess up the assigned proficiency points (although editing them then isn't a problem either).fable wrote:No, can't say I have. Hope that works for you.

Yes, that seems to have done the trick. In effect it rewound him to start, and I just had to give him more experience later to get back to level. Thanks.

Thanks for pointing that out Sytze, I've just leveled all the way up to now, I never sussed out the need to go to level 1 first, so my proficiencies were always getting messed up.Sytze wrote:Just make sure you level up to level one first, and not inmediatly to level 10 or so, because that will mess up the assigned proficiency points (although editing them then isn't a problem either).
