Viconia - Spoiler

This is the first time I`ve played the Viconia romance. I didn`t realise it ended so suddenly. Is there a mod to keep the romance going, or is this as good as it gets?

Do you have ToB installed? Because there are, well, if not romance options, at least things you can say that will shift Viconia's alignment.

Bit difficult to shift Viconia's alignment when he's just had his own changed to evil.:laugh:

Don't think so. I believe Viconia's alignment isn't changed based on your alignment setting, but on your character's responses to a series of comments by Viconia.

That certainly is valid in my experience, but I've never been evil when playing a male with Viconia. For her to pass the PC going in the opposite direction would be seriously wierd and illogical.

No wierder, I'm afraid, than Bioware's trials for determining alignment, or the fact that your alignment doesn't change if you kill innocents for the "fun" of it elsewhere in the game. And that's nothing compared to Bioware's so-called handling of alignment in KotoR...but let's not go there.

In any case, I agree. It's strange, it makes no sense, but it's true.

After this experience, I shall watch Viconia burn next time.
I`m going round now with just Jaheira and Nalia. I`ll swap Nalia for Imoen.
This is the closest to soloing I`ve done. Maybe one day I`ll manage on my own.
And I wont sacrifice one of my party for a Bhaal tear!

Uh i saw the other thread that you expressed negativism towards Viccy, davfrahen.. Could you elaborate some on why does she annoy you and why on earth would you let her burn? She is the only romancable character in the game that doesn't make me feel bad when i want to sleep with her (Jaheira makes me feel like a backstabbing pervert, since i always played with Khalid in BG1, and Aerie... What is she, twelve? No thanks..) Plus she's been around for centuries, and thus has picked up a lot of neat tricks.. *drools*

Davfrahen explained, above: "This is the first time I`ve played the Viconia romance. I didn`t realise it ended so suddenly." In other words, he wanted it to continue further, and its sudden conclusion annoyed him.

Perhaps so, at least for you, but this is getting off-topic.

If he doesn't enjoy Viconia for whatever reason, that's his choice. Just as for myself, any idea of a romance in a computer game is riotously silly.
