HoTu: Ruins Problem (minor spoiler warning)

I have at got to level 3 on Makers Island with Deekin, Nathyrra and my Pale Master/Wizard character. I have come across the

mythril golems but as they are rated impossible, I can't defeat them.

I had saved before then but the only other option seems to be the room with

the Master's assistant inside but as I can't unlock the door and can't speak to the rat, I can't get any further then that level.

Sorry that my first post is something unhelpful like this but would really appreciate what help I can get.

Did you make the special items on the first level of the ruins - the attractor, crusher etc? I normally use them. Use the attractor to stop them from just chasing you down and use the crusher to damage them. If they do start to come after you just run right to the entrance and when they get too far from the attractor they will be forced to return to it. Wait a while then follow after them and use the crusher on them again. I suggest telling your henchman to stand their ground by the entrance while you do all of this.

I have the slowing one and the attracting one but not the crusher, need one more blue power for that and can't find any. I'll have to see if I have any saves far enough back unless there is a shop that has it?

All the powders should be on the first level of the ruins. They are not for sale in the shops. Have you tried going back to that level, looking for it, then going back down to the 3rd level again? Search everywhere on the first level and you should find blue powder, unless there is a bug and its missing (in which case is your game fully patched?). You may be able to add it to your inventory using the console but I don't know the item code for it and cannot check the construction set for the code as I do not currently have the game installed.

Looked a couple of times for the last piece of blue, I'll just load up tomorrow and try that bit again. Thanks for your help

If you have any more problems with those golems, feel free to ask for more help as I'm sure other people must have tactics for getting past them too and it took me a while the first time to figure out the easiest way
