lol! Thanks for the replies
And I might add there is nothing like having a barber give you a straight razor shave...although in the US, this is a thing of the past, last one I was able to get was Paris, France and that was 5 years ago.
I have heard about this, and yes it does sound indeed lovely...though you'd want to hope that you weren't sitting in the chair when an earthquake hit....
(we live directly on the San Andreas fault)
Luckily for the gents that do, a number of traditional barbershops here in Vancouver still offer a shave with a straight razor.
...I admit to finding this whole thing quite fascinating, I'm especially amused by what is apparently referred to as "razor acquisition disorder" (RAD) or "shaving brush acquisition disorder." (SBAD)
The only thing is... I fear this sort of thing could be contagious. I don't need anything heavy duty when I shave my legs, but even so, I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that women get gypped where such products are concerned
(actually women just get gypped by body care, hair cuts and fashion generally.. but I digress).
SHAVING FORUMS???? People have waaaay too much time on their hands. Personally I spend my time on eyebrow-plucking forums before dropping in on my fave toenail-trimming forum.
lmao!
Hey, this is far more constructive than the Google politics group he was posting at before, there they just engage in mudslinging.
Used to bother shaving. For the past year or so, I have decided the Grizzly Adams look is so much better.
Just as long as you haven't adopted a bear cub as well... I can't see the good citizens of St. Kit's adjusting terribly well to something like that....
