Quest item is missing

I'm in the dark brotherhood and I'm doing the Bad Medicine mission. Ocheeva already gave me the poison, but when I got to Fort Sutch, there was no poison in my possession. I looked through all of my categories.

I went back to the dark brotherhood sanctuary and spoke to everyone again, including Ocheeva, and obtaining the poison was not an option.

I know that you're not supposed to be able to remove active Quest items, but it looks like this somehow happened to me anyway.

How can I get the poison?

have you tried reloading a save game you had before or when u got the poison? save often.

I think the poison is in the potions/poisons category and looks like any other poison so it will probably be tricky to find if you have a lot of potions/Poisons in your inventory
