Bloodmoon: Karstaag Castle problem

Bloodmoon: Karstaag Castle problem--minor spoilers

I've been running around under the castle killing the 8 beasties, and I have 8 of their eyeballs to show for it, but Kirsh won't let me into the castle, as he's still waiting for the 8th to be killed, I guess.

Any workarounds for this problem?

As far as i know your journal should update the moment you kill the last Grahl, so if that hasn't happened yet, i assume you missed one.

Well, I've collected eight eyeballs, and I've wandered around multiple times through all corridors.

Anyone know a way to move the plot forward thru control panel so I can continue?

So, I just went thru the entire level again, corridor by corridor, and there is nothing left alive in the ice caves below the castle except me and Kirsch.

Please help with cheat code. I'll take just about any workaround I can get, since this is part of the main storyline for Bloodmoon, I can't really continue toward completion w/o a cheat/fix.

At the mercy of a guru...

Try opening the console and typing in
Journal BM_FrostGiant1 81

Well, while that updated my journal, I can't talk to Kirsch, and when we arrived at the door to the banquet hall, it still gives me the message that it can't be opened/can't enter until the master of the castle grants permission--or something to that effect. Kirsch is standing next to me.

Any ideas? At least I'm closer. ;)

First try this:

Open console, left click on Krish then type in
set openDoor to 1
If that doesn't work then all I can suggest is typing
coc "Solstheim, Castle Karstaag, Banquet Hall"
into the console.

I'm starting to think I'm experiencing a bug in the game. :( After returning from the Ice Castle, I reported in to the shaman, then took my nap, and woke up in a maze w/ objective of getting out. I found the key and am at the "gate" (per Captain Carius), and he's wished me luck and all that, but I can't open a gate...for that matter, there doesn't appear to be a gate. Am I just missing something, or is this a known bug...or new one.

Well, I found my own answer, and have been having my arse served up to me on a silver platter by Kaarstag...but no bug, I was just misled.
