43. Then use the original detonative words.

Edit: OK, let's make it 43-A

Given the news I was handed out over the past 5 years by doctors, I thought long and hard about this one. Here's the list of things I didn't cross off on my list of things to do before I die:

44. Get even with everyone who deliberately screwed me over.
45. Tell everyone I have a problem with exactly what I think of them. (There just is NOT enough time in a lifetime to attempt this.)
46. Train a successor to complete all of the things that I wish done which take more than 80 years to accomplish.

Frankly, I find it amusing you folks have such idiotic things you would like to accomplish before dying. Would you like to wax your cars before croaking too? Perhaps that isn't high enough on the priority list?
"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

Magrus, I do not think that it was the idea behind this thread to list things you actually want to do before you die. That would make a very interesting idea for a topic, but it's just not the case here I think. I mean, when the original poster doesn't actually mentions that you have to post your life goals, and starts off with a suggestion of robbing a bank dressed as a tree, I think it's rather clear that this is rather a thread about coming up with as many crazy things one could actually do in life, rather than a serious thread about actually doing it. But I agree with Lady Dragonfly, good to see you again. :) How's the insomnia thing going?

Blah, whats the point of having lived, if you haven't done all of those "crazy things" already, irregardless? If you have to have the worry of death being an impending concern, and then recall that you haven't done even the fun things, what kind of life have you led? Joke thread aside, perhaps that is something all of you folks should think about. If you can laugh about doing something and truly consider doing it, why haven't you done so yet?

Anyhow, thanks for the welcome back. The insomnia comes and goes. Lately however, it's been relatively easier to deal with. Working where I work, the heat wears me out even if the work itself does not. The free drinks after work should I want them in addition to that add to the help of falling asleep in the event I haven't in a few days. It works out relatively well.

That are some good words, and very well to think about. It also puzzles me sometimes that so many people have so many plans, while only adding the deed to it in half of the cases, and even then mostly half-heartly. Well, no, it doesn't puzzle me, that's just the nature of many people, since fantasising about something can be so much more easier than bringing up the effort to actually do it. Fantasising about it gives pleasure, but only short-lived pleasure, easy pleasure with short legs. It's like eating tasty, but very unhealthy fat food: it fulfils a momentarily need, but brings only misery on the long term; rather choosing the easy short road now, than doing the right thing. Everyone should just stop fantasising about what could be and what could've been, and just get busy to make it really happen. People shouldn't have "dreams". Screw dreams, people should have goals and just pursue them, instead of longing for dreams all their lives. But what am I ranting, that won't solve a damn thing. Better start doing it myself first. Continue living.

That's good to hear, I guess. Enjoy the heat, we had nothing but rain here in the past weeks. Not a great summer so far. Ah well, let's get back to the original topic at hand.

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
