Howdy,
Is it possible to have Edwin or Viconia remaining with a party with a Heroic rep? I'd like to try a game with a party I've never played before.
I remember on my first BG2 game I was able to have Korgan all the way without him ever leaving or even complaining (besides the normal comments when rep goes up and all), but then again, that was six years and several patches ago.
Any thoughts on this anyone?
TIA

You want the BG2 Fixpack, from the Gibberings Three. And look at that. A link, too.

Hmph. An honest option would be to keep your reputation at 16. No higher. This can be done in various ways without affecting xp gain much:
Don't talk to the Amnish soldier after cleaning the Circus tent
Don't talk to Tiris' parents after helping Raissa
Don't return the Waukeen Mantle to the Mayor of Trademeet. Give it to whomever of the nobles you serve. A fight will ensue, providing you with an Elven Chain also.
Don't return the head of Neb to the authorities.
Turn into the Slayer when rep goes Heroic.
And lastly - kill an innocent. There's always redemption in a temple.

But that wasn't what he asked, and what he asked was not "more dishonest." He bought the game, he can do with it as he likes. And if he doesn't like that rule, it's his choice to see if there's a way around it. Please keep that in mind when someone asks a question of this sort here in the forums.
