BG2 fever again! need some suggestions

Four years and maybe more elapsed since I last played BG2, but this game still attract me a lot. So I decided to play it once again (SoA + ToB) but I don't remember that much of the game and need some suggestions for the way I'd like to play the game. Here's some points:

- no powerplay, want to privilege roleplay
- want to try the romance with Jaheira
- try to put together both good and evil characters (Korgan)
- play without a full arcane spellcaster, recommended or not?

I'd like to put these NPC's in my party

- Korgan
- Mazzy
- Jaheira
- Jan Jansen

which characted should I create to balance the team (thinking about war or barbarian dualed cleric, at which level?)?

Tirzan, welcome to the forums. We already have plenty of material here to answer your questions. Use our search facility on such words as roleplay, Jaheira, professions, arcane, etc. Easy way to get information, and you don't have to wait around for replies. It also pleases the site owner, who doesn't want duplicative threads in the database.

If you have a specific question after that which hasn't been answered in our forum database, feel free to start a new thread, and I"m sure you'll get plenty of responses.
