Fallout 1 Trainer

Post by The Batosi »

I am currently running Fallout 1 v1.1, so that I can use the trainer v1.1. I am having some problems though. No matter what trainer I use, the "God Mode", and "Infinite Money" cheats will not work. But the "Set Experience" and "Set Skill Points" cheats do work. So I don't think its the trainer, because 2 out of the 5 cheats work. Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a certain directory I should have the trainer installed to in my Fallout folder?

Also, does anyone know of a FAQ on how to use PC Game Trainers? How to set them up, what directory to put them in, how to treat loading/saving games? I would really appreciate it if someone told me what to do.

Also, I would greatly appreciate it if someone would recommend the best and most up to date Fallout Trainer there is. I am just having big problems with the game.

I have used to Trainer GameWiz32, which is a really EASY to use make your own cheats, game trainer. I finally find the address in Fallout that edits your Hitpoints, so I can freeze it to enter God Mode. Problem is, I set the value to like 500 HP. Then I go back to the game, and let myself get hit. Well you know how in Fallout when you take damage, the HP bar scrolls like a odometer down to your new hitpoint value? Well when I get hit it goes to 500 HP, and scrolls down to what my real hitpoints should be. Like if My real HP was 50, and I took 5 damage, which would put me at 45. With the 500 HP code on, it would go from 500, all the way down to 45. Understand where I am coming from?

I am just looking for a good Fallout Trainer, that has "God Mode" and it works. If anyone out there can help me out with my problem, I would greatly appreciate it. I have been playing the game with no trainer, and its fun. I just always have a ton more fun when I can cheat in the game to give me advantages I shouldn't have otherwise. It just makes the game more fun for me. That is just my opinion. I appreciate everyone who reads this post, and to everyone who takes the time to help me out. Thanks a bunch everyone. Later Days....... =P

Can't remember much about the trainers for Fallout 1, though I suggest to check the trainers from No Mutants Allowed -site.

One trainer which should do the trick is this

Where do I install the trainers? When should I turn them on? Before or after I load the game?

If it came in a zip file it most likely should contain a readme. I think a majority of trainers change saved files, so they work best before opening a game.

Yes, but the readme files only say what the trainers do. Not how to install them. What I am thinking is that I found out that all the trainers only work with the unpatched version 1.0 game of fallout, and versions 1.1 and 1.2 will not work with those trainers. I have the GSP version of Fallout, that contains Fallout 1+2+Tactics all on one CD. So I think I am trying to get an up to date trainer. Does anyone know how to make a trainer for someone who does not know how? Or can anyone make one for me for Fallout 1+2? All I want is God Mode, and possibly a "Days Left" for the Water Chip quest lock. Thanks to everyone who replies, and to everyone who offers their help. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. Later Days....... =P

PS: I have been to all the sites, like No Mutants Allowed, and all the other leading Fallout sites. All the trainers they have are out of date, and only work with the version 1.0 of the game. Thanks a bunch to everyone. Take it easy.

Not 100% sure in case of Fallout 1, but I remember that at least Falche works perfectly well with patched versions as well.

As far as enjoyment goes in the game. Do you enjoy the character editors like Flache, or do you like the trainers more? You are right Falche is the only working editor for the patched versions of Fallout and Fallout 2. Thanks again. I appreciate your help. Take it easy. Later Days....... =P
