I'd like to add that some roughness cannot be avoided, because IWD2 is not designed to handle the in-party dialogue the way BG2 is. In other words, timers will never be as good as a random banter generator, for example; or I will never be ale to add the talks at hoitting the rest button, instead they will all happen as you wake up. But I am doing what I can to work around the limitations.
And yep, there are romances. Atm, there are two per each gender.
That was my impression, since the majority of conversations seem to happen upon waking... I figured it had something to do with the IWD2 engine.
That you have done as much as you've been able to is pretty extraordinary. Now.. I actually
want to finish the game, which never occurred before. Instead, I would get through about 75% of it, and then the endless, often grueling, battles would simply wear me down and I just didn't care anymore.
I'm even developing a much greater appreciation for the third edition rules and the nice way they balance game difficulty.
I just needed that something extra that adds life and a break from the nearly constant fighting.
In terms of dialogue triggers, would weather work at all? I know absolutely nothing about modding, so please forgive my ignorance if I've suggested something utterly impossible.
