Hi, I'm having trouble with setting Set***. It does not work. Can any one help me????

I tried using these commands, and I couldn't get them to work, either. It's possible they no longer function in MOTB.

Strange. It seems our consoles differ from one to the next, albeit being from the same game. Any others care to offer their opinions?GoldDragon wrote:Odd.
I just used the commands in Motb, and the Set*** work.
Oddly enough, SetStr works as well as SetSTR... And it's the same case for the rest of the stats.

From what I've seen, the commands aren't case sensitive. Only the stuff after the commands are case sensitive.
I think my problem was I had a character selected but not explicitly targeted, but I was playing with this when I was working on the Ice Troll part of the walkthrough, and then I eventually built up enough strength not to need the cheat, and so I haven't worried about it since.

What do you mean, stuff after the commands? Is it stuff like item or feat codes?swcarter wrote:From what I've seen, the commands aren't case sensitive. Only the stuff after the commands are case sensitive.

Right. There are also some complicated arguments for when you want to trigger a cut scene or something. But I think you can use debugmode or DebugMode or DEBugMoDE or however you want to capitalize it (as an example) when you're typing the commands.Loki[D.d.G] wrote:What do you mean, stuff after the commands? You always have at least one character selected. That's who you're controlling. But if you right click on a character (or enemy) then you'll target them, and their portrait will appear on screen. Some commands apparently require a character to be targeted rather than just selected.kahelag wrote:Hi, what do you mean character selected but no the target???![]()

You may thank Incartus for this (from Bioware forums).
Here you will find some other hints on the SM.
Basically, just Suppress the craving down to Zero when you first get the SE in Act 2.
I think that turning off the SM sort of destroys the game (it IS about a Curse)...Well if you're like myself & don't like the SM (spirit meter) at all, you can turn it off completely, to do so:
To Disable the Spirit meter
hit the (~) key to bring up the console while in-game, then type:
debugmode 1
rs ka_se_terminate
debugmode 0
If you want to turn it back on at any time:
debugmode 1
rs ka_se_init
debugmode 0
