Just curious how much money everyone else has made until they got bored. I'm just over 4 million (cash on hand, not total amount made that is around 9 million)
Granted this is my second character build and I am cheating like crazy this time around LOL
I didn't cheat the first time through and don't think I ever broke 50K in cash.
Is the buy/sell tactic even considered cheating? Supply vrs Demand is a part of the game after all.

In a way, yes. It's more an exploit than a cheat, in my opinion, since you exploit the guile skill to make a profit when buying and selling.dac95694 wrote: Is the buy/sell tactic even considered cheating? Supply vrs Demand is a part of the game after all.

Anyway... I think the sell and buy exploit isnt really an exploit really... the RPG made certain choises with good and bad points... While the game makers thought men may focus on one thing at a time the good thing from guile is not just the exploit... for you can make money stealing to.. and robbing shops, But i figure when you get bored you may raise all skills what will eventually make this advantage of the skill an exploit... But if you would have focust on 1 thing only.. as it was ment to be a suppose, Choose guile.. you will lack physics and will... at the oter hand choose will.. But that will couse you to not be able to make that much money

Hello and welcome back, Matt. Haven't seen you in a while.matthewd wrote:Long Time Ago... Still good to see you are still on Duty sir...
I kind of agree with what you said there. The problem I find with Fable is the fact that there are practically no penalties or limitations when you spend the experience points you earned. As a result, you will end up with a hybrid character which can master all three skills later on in the game.matthewd wrote:Anyway... I actually found the selling/buying helped for what i needed.
I also found that if you knock down the door on a house you can purchase, buy it, place as many trophies as you can in it and then sell it, go back in, remove the trophies and then buy it back at a lower price. This helps build money.
Speaking about property after killing virtually everyone in Oakvale i owned everything which brought in lots of rent.
When buying and selling i have found that expensive items such as jewels(emeralds, diamonds etc) can bring a good profit with a high skill.
