Anyone have a suggestion for a RPG that would suit an Elder Scrolls fan.

There are many here who will disagree with you on that. A good number of people will say that despite Oblivion being newer, Morrowind still outdoes it by far.

That's one of the funniest things I ever heard :) More than likely you can get it for $8 rather than $80 it's a very old game now. Much as I loved Daggerfall at the time it would be a big step backwards playing it now if you've played Morro and/or Oblivion.
I've seen it for more than 80 Euro on ebay once, but I've just checked and yeah, that's not the usual price. It's at least $32 at Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more and $44 to $84 bucks at ebay if you "buy it now".
There aren't really any other games as non linear as Elder Scrolls. Gothic III has been mentioned bit the world is smaller than Cyrodiil and the game is quite linear but if you're not bothered about that I'd agree that going for KOTOR would be a good bet as is The Witcher.
Gothic III and linear? At least, more linear than Oblivion? Hell yeah.
