Random vampire - minor spoiler

The first time I went to the North Forest area, I saw a vampire right next to the grave, which quickly disappeared. It was daytime when this happened. I couldn't find any mention of this in any walkthrough or in this forum. Anyone know what is going on? (I have no mods, just the patch)

As you may suspect from the vampire, there is indeed an undead ambush/fight in this area. Though, as vampires cannot sustain the gaze of the sun, this battle will only occur if you arrive during night time.
Try to re-enter the area after the sun has set.

Believe there is a stach there with some goodies that might make it worthwhile - and if not, then at least the satisfaction of delivering those nightsuckers to their 'final sleep' should be reason enough to go back ; )

Oh I see... I read that Dao Djinns came at night. Weird how there would be no mention of vampires in the walkthrough. Well I'll have to go at night and see. I prefer vamps anyways. Thanks for the reply!
