Help: Igni (Not about location)

Post by Pyrohemia »

I am in Act II currently, Vizima is under quarrantine, and I am wondering if there was anyway to back to the outskirts to the crypt.

When I first did the quests to kill ghouls, and earn Mikols trust, I only had to kill the ghouls that spawned in the first two rooms. The rest of the crypt looked walled in at first glance, and the cave in's looked a bit beyond the Aard Symbol.

I've learned from a friend that Igni, the fire sign, was in the crypts. Is there anyway to get back to it after entering Vizima?

Spoiler:

No, you cannot return. You might find more Igni circles later in the game but it will take long; at least not in chapter 2.

The Igni is not behind the blocked passage - it is in the room on your left. You need to use Cat potion to see in the dark.
You also missed a trophy quest from the hunter (you can unblock the passage after you completed Buried Memories quest) - and a lot of exp.
I would suggest to reload a savegame (before you climb down through the trap door) and finish that cave. It's worth it, trust me.

I was hoping that wasn't the answer, but thank you none the less.

I suppose Act II won't take as long now that I know my way around. However, I did notice something, after I went to the swamp to kill drowned dead and do a few other contracts, Sigfried disappeared. He was not at his post any time of day.

I know its unrelated, but does he relocate after I do a certain part of my investigation or quest with Kalkstein to get into the tower?

You can get Igni in Chapter II. There's a shrine for it in the Lionhead Spider Cult crypt in the sewers.

After letting you through whichever gate he starts out guarding, Siegfried will move to the Order watch post next to the Order armorer.

You might want to check out our walkthrough, which contains these answers.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Yea, I know he relocate to the order outpost, but after I had complete drowner tongues, and started doing some quests for the fish worshiping brick makers, he stopped appearing at his out post.

Gosh, you are right. I was thinking about the other one, in the ruins... Looks like there are two Igni in that crypt?

Try swamp. There is a campfire right to the south of the druid camp. If he is there, get ready for the main plot advancement.

There are two shrines in the cult crypt, but one is for igni and one is for aard.
