Is your blade skill 57 naturally or with enchantments?

Luckily I'm not the forum moderator, as if I were, I would close this thread immediately considering you tell us you have no intention of meeting us halfway. In the future, you might want to search around first, even if there is nothing. It may be an annoyance for you to search, but it's also an annoyance to us to keep responding the same post over and over on the same topic.

It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Are you running any mods?

What colour is your blade skill written in. If it's green, then you may not have realised it, but that would mean so0mething is boosting your skill. The increase to journeyman only kicks in when your skill reaches 50 without boosts, hence Siberys' and my questions.

If the answers are no, and black, then you've obviously hit a bug, which leads to a third question:

Are you playing on a PC or one of the inferior platforms?

Easiest way to find out is to select the magic tab on the inventory/character screen, then select the far right tab which shows all spells and effects affecting the PC. I should have thought of that earlier.
