I am getting crashes every 10 - 15 secs. game stops, goes black, windows error message "dlords.exe has stopped working". My system is a Dell XPS 720 with Vista business (32 bit) - Q6600 QUad 2.4 ghz processor, 4 GB Ram, nvidia geforce 8800 gtx vid card, Creative SB x-sfi sound card.
Of course this is after following the suggestions in the forums to fix the loading saved games etc which hit me after leaving Fargrove for the first time. Specifically I am running in compatibility mode as administrator and turned off UAC. but I am now having the abovementioned problem...what else must I do?

Lot of pain and suffering to play a $8.77 game...from the research I have done to create this magical dual boot OS I will have to uninstall Vista; install XP; create the partition then reinstall Vista and prey to god that I don't screw it up and fry everything. M$ and the indy techno helpers online all say to install the older version of windows first or the theme of the info on how to configure a dual boot OS is assuming you are upgrading to vista
The worst part is that it is harder and harder to find good RPG's...I used to like the older Might and Magic type games and i am not interested in playing online so DLCE was the nest best thing that I have found in a long time. Oblivion sucks but then I don't tend to like 1st person type games...sorry to rant.
Is there an easy way to do this?
