Putting Loot in Container?

Post by arsesq »

I understand that in your own house you can transfer stuff from yourself to a container, such as a chest. But I can't figure out how to do it. I can get as far as getting the stuff in a pile on the floor, or on top of the container, using Drop and Grab.

I use a PC computer, so the keystroke for Grab is Z (for instance). So I need the key/mouse sequence to get stuff from my personal inventory to the container's inventory. Can somebody help me?

It has been awhile since I have played, but if you open the container, there should be a tab on the bottom that you can switch to which would be the "deposit tab". From there just click on the items you want to put in the container.

Like I said it has been awhile, but pretty sure it was that simple.

That did it!

I'm sorry to respond so late. I did try your suggestion as soon as you posted it, and it led me to the answer.

For anyone else reading this, there are two icons at the bottom center of the inventory of a container. The one on the right has the focus by default. If you click the one on the left, you get your own inventory. If you click on an item there, it gets transferred to the container, which you can prove by then clicking on the right-hand icon again.
