First: you need atleast 50 of the item. Or something more.Oversize load wrote:Hi,I wanted to try out the buy all sell all trick but it dosent work I aren't getting the huge profit Ive read about.I have 5 guile and also 100 atractivness and 50- scariness I play on xbox so what am I doing wrong.
second: enough guile. Add a few levels,
Than just find someone and sell / buy it. ALL at a time, and buyt them back ALL at a time.
Huge profit requires huge amounts of valuable items.
Like 400 gems.
Scariness and atractiveness dont matter really.
Not working = maybe a bug?
Playing on the PC:
The Witcher (Currently deïnstalled)

If you are selling something to them you need to buy out that stock of item completely first. Then the price goes up. So you make more money when you sell the entire amount back to them which you have. Then with the profit you have made buy out their entire stock of an item that they have an absurd amount of. Since they have an absurd amount the buying price is low. Now the merchant has none of that item and the price they give you to sell it back to them is high.
Sell high (= merchant has few or none of the item)
Buy low (= merchant has tons of the item)
When you have made a LOT of capital then you can become as rich as you want because you can go to oakvale and buy out the merchants entire stock of gems (do this with the variety they have the most of). Then sell back.
Always end the round by buying out the merchants entire stock of everything* if you can even if it reduces your money. Now when you go to the next merchant (or trader) you encounter the trick will work better because you'll be working with even higher quantities of stuff.
* but don't buy things they only have a few of = high price
By the end of the game I was wandering around with 100s of barrels of cider 100s of gems roses meat EVERYTHING
This also makes you invulnerable because you can use physical shield and by out massive amounts of Will potions (which whenever you want you can sell them all then buy them back )

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
