Herman's Hermits anyone ? ...

"No Spam today"

No SPAM today, my love has gone away
The SYM-Board stands forlorn, a symbol of the dawn
No SPAM today, it seems a common sight
But people passing by don't know the reason why

How could they know just what this message means
The end of my hopes, the end of all my dreams
How could they know the palace there had been
Behind the door where my love reigned as queen

No SPAM today, it wasn't always so
The company was gay, we'd turn night into day

But all that's left is a place dark and lonely
A terraced house in a mean street back of town
Becomes a shrine when I think of you only
Just two up two down

No SPAM today, it wasn't always so
The company was gay, we'd turn night into day
As music played the faster did we dance
We felt it both at once, the start of our romance

How could they know just what this message means
The end of my hopes, the end of all my dreams
How could they know a palace there had been
Behind the door where my love reigned as queen

No SPAM today, my love has gone away
The SYM-Board stands forlorn, a symbol of the dawn

But all that's left is a place dark and lonely
A terraced house in a mean street back of town
Becomes a shrine when I think of you only
Just two up two down

No SPAM today, my love has gone away
The SYM-Board stands forlorn, a symbol of the dawn
No SPAM today, it seems a common sight
But people passing by don't know the reason why

How could they know just what this message means
The end of my hopes, the end of all my dreams
How could they know a palace there had been
Behind the door where my love reigned as queen

No SPAM today, it wasn't always so
The company was gay, we'd turn night into day

But all that's left is a place dark and lonely
A terraced house in a mean street back of town
Oh all that's left is a place dark and lonely
A terraced house in a mean street back of town
Oh all that's left is a place dark and lonely
A terraced house in a mean street back of town

Pretty Fly (For A New Guy) - (Wannabe Spammer) after The Offspring

Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
And all the girls say I spam pretty fly for a new guy

Uno dos tres cuatro cinco cinco seís
You know its kinda hard just to spam along today
Our subject isn't cool, but he fakes it anyway
He may not have a clue, and he may not have style
But everything he lacks, well he spams up in denial

(chorus)
So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
Gonna play the field, and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you know you can always go and take a break
The world needs wannabes
Hey, hey, do that brand new thing!

Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
And all the girls say I spam pretty fly for a new guy

He needs some cool tunes, not just any will suffice
He looks for a thread and follows its advice
Now spamming in this forum, he sees homies as they pass
But if he blinks twice, they're gonna spam his lily ass!

(chorus)
So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
Gonna play the field, and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you know you can always go and take a break
The world loves wannabes
Hey, hey, do that brand new thing!

Now he's getting an avatar yeah, he's getting one done
He asked for "13", but they gave him "31"
Friends say he's trying too hard and he's not quite hip
But in his own mind he's the, he's the dopest trip

Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Give it to me baby, uh huh, uh huh
Uno dos tres cuatro cinco cinco seís

(chorus)
So don't debate, a player straight
You know he really doesn't get it anyway
Gonna play the field, and keep it real
For you no way, for you no way
So if you don't rate, just overcompensate
At least you know you can always go and take a break
The world needs wannabes
The world loves wannabes
Let's get some more wannabes
Hey, hey, do that brand new thing!

Walk of Spam after the Dire Straits

Here comes BS singing oldies, goldies
Be-Bop-A-Lula, Baby What I Say
Here comes BS singing I Gotta Woman
Down in the Tunnels, trying to make her stay
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the man can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

He do the song about the sweet lovin' woman
He do the song about the plan
He do the walk, he do the walk of spam

Here comes BS and he'll tell you the story
Hand me down my walkin' shoes
Here come BS with the power and the glory
Backbeat the talkin' blues
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the man can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

He do the song about the sweet lovin' woman
He do the song about the plan
He do the walk, he do the walk of spam

Here comes BS singing oldies, goldies
Be-Bop-A-Lula, Baby What I Say
Here comes BS singing I Gotta Woman
Down in the Tunnels, trying to make her stay
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah the man can play
Decidation devotion
Turning all the night time into the day

And after all the violence and double talk
There's just a song about the trouble and the plan
You do the walk, you do the walk of spam

Another one of Monty Phyton -

The Life of SPAMMER !

Spammer. The babe they called 'Spammer',
He grew,... grew, grew, and grew--
Grew up to be-- grew up to be
A boy called 'Spammer'--
A boy called 'Spammer'.
He had arms... and legs... and hands... and feet,
This boy... whose name was 'Spammer',
And he grew,... grew, grew, and grew--
Grew up to be--
Yes, he grew up to be
A teenager called 'Spammer'--
A teenager called 'Spammer',
And his face became spotty.
Yes, his face became spotty,
And his voice dropped down low
And things started to grow
On young Spammer and show
He was certainly no--
No girl named 'Spammer',
Not a girl named 'Spammer'.

And he started to shave
And have one off the wrist
And want to see girls
And go out and get pissed,
A man called 'Spammer'--
This man called 'Spammer'--
The man they called 'Spammer'--
This man called 'Spammer'!

Another Dire Straits classic

Calling Satan

calling Satan - is anybody home
calling Satan - I'm here all alone
did he leave the building
or can he come to the phone

calling Satan - I'm here all alone
well tell him I was calling just to wish him well
let me leave my number - heartbreak hotel :D
oh love me tender - baby don't be cruel
return to sender - treat me like a fool

calling Satan - is anybody home
calling Satan - I'm here all alone
did he leave the building
or can he come to the phone
calling Satan - I'm here all alone

why don't you go get him - I'm his biggest fan
you gotta tell him - he's still the man
long distance baby - so far from home
don't you think maybe you could put him on

well tell him I was calling just to wish him well
let me leave my number - heartbreak hotel
oh love me tender - baby don't be cruel
return to sender - treat me like a fool

calling Satan - is anybody home
calling Satan - I'm here all alone
did he leave the building
or can he come to the phone
calling Satan - I'm here all alone

Here's the one from The Flop House.
