Do you want to eat wolves or emulate them? besides don't take that logic. in fact if you like wolves then try to be like them. I do not want to emulate vegetables. I thought you said you wanted to emulate wolves and I am quite surprised.
Some other interesting things about wolf-hybrids (wolf dogs). They will often stalk children. Sometimes there owner isn't even aware. The growling behavior is reserved for pack mates. With prey wolves are often excited (happy). That wolf 'that likes' your little tyke at the zoo may want to eat him.
Another behavior of wolfs is to attempt to dominate others that they feel threatened by. This can happen with owners of wolf hybrids. Presumably they can also possibly back down or there wouldn't be packs of wolves there would be one wolf and a lot of dead ones. Still I don't admire the society where the leader is chosen because he can physically kill me.
I'm not suggesting you become a vegetarian. I am reminding you what happens to the animals you eat. There is a difference. You can eat them if that is your choice. And if you don't want to hear my views then don't look in threads labeled 'animal cruelty'. That would be like reading a thread 'the horrors of smoking' and then being bummed because the people made you worry about your lungs.
CJ@ suggested that humans cannot cease eating meat because wolves do not or can not. Which I disagree with.
Animal cruelty
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
Goodness how can i be offended, they are just your opinions. Now you can cherry pick the negative points of animal behavior every bit as much I can cherry pick the positive points. I did not mean to offend you. You certainly have not offended me.
I won't speak for Cj, I'll just say you interpreted his comment different than mine. That is the beauty of opinions. If people want to create posts called animal cruelty in an open forum they need to be prepared for debates from people like me.
Jk I think I am arguing my opinion too.
Also I was intending to say my admiration sometimes for wolves in Jack London's books.. They are quite good. Yes you can find things you like and dislike about a wolf. I think we were teasing eachother suggesting to live in a cave or take root.

Hello! I was hoping to get some discussion: Why else would I make this thread?
Claudius seems to have taken this discussion over anyway, -Hands ownership to him-
But I was indeed prepared for a hot discussion over this, topic, there is controversy everywhere about this particular subject
How many times do I have to tell you? If you kill me, you get a simple glove. If not, you get a rare and valuable item, Wraithguard. Oh, but my soul is worth quite the sum.
Wait here. No, not over there. Right here. Okay. Yes, I am the Grand Champion.

The subject remains the same, and isn't owned by any particular person or religion.Dagoth_shel wrote:Claudius seems to have taken this discussion over anyway, -Hands ownership to him-
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
This is as close to proper agreement as we will get on this topic. Yes I was playing along with you, after all I could easily see where you were going.Claudius wrote:Jk I think I am arguing my opinion too.

Dagoth, I was having a discussion with Claudius about the nature of disagreeing viewpoints. You have displayed nothing but good natured tolerance toward differing viewpoint. Something I can't always do...
I didn't say that Wolves should be our Role Model. I was making a suggestion to the fact that we are humans, we eat meat. Big Deal? No.
It's just some people are to Self-Conscious of what they eat. I'm not, therefor I eat meat.
Hope you Understand.
