I was hoping Durn and Vren would find a way to join us, instead of traipsing about the countryside by themselves. :)

@all- I'll be out of town for a few days with no computer access, so even though I'm the one who just reminded everyone to post more often, I'm about to ignore my own advice. I figured I'd better explain myself lest I sound too hippocritical. ;) :D

I'll get a post up before I leave.

@Arcane: First off, welcome back. Now, I don't mind you deciding to make your way out into the town and even finding the note, but the actions of the creature are my responsiblity. I realize your just trying to make it interesting, but things like this make it difficult to play out the type of creature this, well, creature is. Namely, the creature doesn't kill randomly (which I was hoping to reveal slowly), as you made it do with the blacksmith. In addition, it doesn't travel into town.

@Arcane: Don't worry too much about, stuff like that happens.

@All: I hope you don't mind, but I'm just going to assume you will all agree to hunt the creature, just so I can progress the story.

@Durwyn, perhaps you two can catch up with us while we rest?

Just my 2 cents. :)

@Magus & Rail: I hope neither of you mind, but during the story, I'm going to fill in bits and pieces of the our past. Feel free to do the same, but I do have a bit of an idea. If you want to add anything, just send me a heads up.

@All: just so I know, does anyone mind if I make this one a little more character development, rather than combat orientated? I think it would be a nice change after the Athkatla threads.

Well, you know I tend to look at character development more than just "Smashy smashy" and "Ugh, sword hurt you good!" :D

Great! Next thing you know, Aegis will have us all in a musical! j/k

I agree with you, Aegis. A fight every now and then is fine, but I prefer more conversation and story than action. It's tough to develop good stories in this format with so many hands in the cookie jar. The various characters and how we each develop them are definitely our biggest asset.

Durn said that we should camp else where and is scared of the (Half)elf, Vren says no, the monster could kill Vren and durn then when the other come to see, it would have gone round. He also thinks he is scared of the reaction, and Vren expects Anduin knows what an orc looks like, meaning he might think that Durn is an orc :D

The reason I said elf was because Durn thinks he is an elf but he knows something's diffrent about him, but he doesn't know what exactly it is. (He noticed the stuble human traits but hasn't relized what they are yet. Probaly will notice he's a half elf when he gets closer.)

@Aegis: Is Kis'thanas female? If she is, I've got a lot of rewriting to do on my forthcoming post. :o
Lost Souls: A bereft lover. A masterless familiar. Friends gone their separate ways. Time marches on, and destiny heralds the meeting of comrades old and new. Can they find what they're seeking? Or will the search bring them only more pain?

@Aegis: Well, yes, I realized half-way through while I was reviewing all mention of Kis'thanas. Problem is, you called her by multiple names. Like Kis'thana. :D That screwed up my search. Besides, Kis'thanas does sound like an elven male's name. ;) Anyway, looks like it's back to the word processor for me... :)

@all: Oh, and while we're on the topic of 'multiple' names, my character's name is Gilthanas, not Gilthanus, as some people seem to prefer. :D
