Sorry for the late reply Ode, I haven't seen this until now. Since I'm here to serve, I of course have the explanation for the phenomenon you describe. :D

Male lactating in concentration camps has been recording in several hundred cases, and the reason why this occurs is actually fairly simpe: In order to lactate, a hormone called prolactin (surprise, surprise) must be present in a certain amount. Just like with oestrogen and testosterone, both men and women produce prolactin, just in different amounts. Now to the concentration camps: During starvation, some organs will shrink due to cell death, and one such organs is the liver. The liver breaks down prolactin, so when your liver is too small to degrade prolactin appropriately, the concentration of prolactin in your body will rise. When the level of prolactin is high enough, you will start to lactate.
