Craig, there is not one, but 3 tomes of wisdom in BG1, so you can get 22 in BG2 if you choose the right path, without cheating. thats what i have.

The Brotherhood now welcomes all kinds of divine spellcasters. Formerly, we just had rangers and druids, the forest folk. Now we accept all religious people, i.e. clerics and paladins can now join us.

I'm not sure about monks yet. They're not spellcasters, but they have spent their life in the service of wisdom nonetheless. So if there are any monks out there, let us know of your existence, so I might consider your membership.

Nay, it be either +2 STR or +1 CHA & WIS, and either +2 CON or Immunity to +1 or Lower Weapons. I'd be preferin' the Immunity over CON anytime. I be a dwarf, o' course, already plenty o' CON :D .

here is soething completly different (sorry :D )
but if u played a ranger(/cleric) what would u pick as racial enemy looking to ToB ???
i picked vampires for BG2 but are they going to be in ToB.
i mean with MoD+2 vamps are easy in BG2 so in ToB they aren't any thing more like overgrown goblins :D :D

what would be a better enemy: flayers, beholders?? or something like giants or golems.

Most big enemies will have better than +1 weapons, so it kinda sucks to be resistant to +1 weapons. And +2 con will give you regeneration ability.

As for Racial enemy i agree vampires suck, with level drain immunity they are nothing.
Arent there Draconian creatures to choose? Dragons or Demons would be the best choice.
Golems is an ok choice, as there will be that new golem that is magic resistant. And i think they all are somewhat magic resistant, so why not.

I would choose the str bonus, if it wasnt for me using the crom fayer. I am quite sure there wont be a weapon that will make me turn away the crom fayer in ToB. extra wis will be uefull for a cleric

I would go for STR then.

But if you are using Crom faeyr there is no reason to. Maybe best for you to not use the girdles and stuff to make the warhammer then, unless Anomen is in the party

Aye, but regeneration how fast, me wonders. With items like Ring o' Gaxx, ye already be regeratin' pretty fast. An' don't worry, there will be enemies with +1 weapons or lower. Armies of orcs come to me mind.

With the dragon quest I be hearin' of, dragon be soundin' a good choice to me.
Beholders ain't that tough, and illithid can easily be handled with using the right tactics (Chaotic Commands, fer example). Then ye got demons, which'll probably be represented a lot in the expansion. But they ain't that tough. Not at those insane levels they be.

May I join your group?

At the moment I have an all druid party with me (an Avenger) and Jaheira (almost romancing I think!)

I tried to join the Brotherhood of the Woods but the thread seemed to have been lost. It would be cool to take part in a group to share tips and hints! :)

Do? well, we just are, mostly..

Seriously, we discuss the spells and abilities of clerics, and anyone being able to use cleric spells, and with faith in the gods, may join.

Personally i prefer the might of Talos, and my berzerker/cleric do what Talos bids.
